I have an idea what I want in a layout. I want to have a double main line that tranverses over bridges thru mountains and so forth. I want a turntable, passenger station, engine facility, town, small yard.
I have yet to actually buy software to facilitate in this endeavor yet from everything i've heard I will most likely go with rr track from its ease of use and ability to see the layout in 3d form. Mth scale trax is in my opinion has the best scale fidelity but I'm afraid I will be using atlas since I already have so much of it. The radi of the mainline will be 099 and 081 and various other curves for around towns etc:
This is all I have for now but I will be posting some pics hopefully by weeks end of the area where the layout will go and what I have set-up already so stay tuned.
